The Department was established in 2009. The intake capacity of department is 80 students per class (B.Sc. I,II,III). Department is fulfilled with all the required instruments and qualified teaching staff. The Dept.has good record of result since 2009. Deparment has well established Laboratories of Plant tissue culture, Molecular Biology, Microbiology,Bioinformatics ,Biochemistry. Department has aimed to give a advanced theorotical and applied biotechnological knowlegde to students of Rural area.
