We have started the department of forensic science in the academic year 2013-14 with intake capacity of 60. Our department is the only department in Shivaji Univesity having facility of B.Sc. in Fornesic Science. A criminologist can be work as an anlyst; teacher, reviewer, reformer of law, revising ways of criminal rehabilation and as a researchers working to improve the criminal justice system.

Both these field offer opportunities in Govt. and private forensic labs, detective agencies such as CBI, IB, and Raw crime cells- police.
